Charlotte Mouquin
Charlotte Mouquin's goal is enhancing community through art experiences that highlight our humanity as global citizens. Her degrees include a MA in Contemporary Art from Sotheby’s Institute of Art, a BFA from Parsons School of Design, a MAT from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts Boston/Tufts University. In addition to being a practicing artist she is a curator, educator, and leader in non-profit arts. Ultimately her goal is to connect people through art. She lives in Valley Cottage, NY and is the sole proprietor of her creative practice CharVoz Studio.
Charlotte Mouquin (Voznesenskaya) is also the Executive Director at the Pelham Art Center in Pelham, NY. Previously she was the Director of Rush Arts Galleries of Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation from 2010-2017 focusing on all exhibitions and public programs at Rush Arts Gallery in Chelsea and Corridor Gallery in Brooklyn. She has curated exhibitions at Rush Arts Gallery, Corridor Gallery, Sensei Gallery, Field Projects, CultureFix Gallery, Clover’s Fine Art Gallery, The Living Gallery and Pelham art Center. She has hosted art salons in private homes, and been an active gallery participant at multiple art fairs including: Volta, Scope, Pulse, Prizm, Fountain, Flux Harlem, Figment NYC, Select Miami and Alt-Break. She has been on multiple review panels as a guest juror, and an art educator with multiple nonprofits, and was a highschool art teacher in Vermont. Above all, Charlotte is an artist.
