Dan Lukens

A life-long Rockland resident, my work is an ode to familiar themes and local places. The beauty in our lives and the good in it, I believe, resides in the things we choose to see, appreciate and find value in. In exploring the often overlooked aspects of daily life, I find the points of reflection that are my inspiration.

 

A former not-for-profit executive, I earned my BFA from Purchase College, though drawing and painting have been a passion since early childhood.

 

My most recent work is currently on display and available through the OUTSIDE IN gallery in Piermont.
