Jase Michael

Jase Michael (b. 1976, Englewood, NJ) is a multidisciplinary contemporary artist. His practice extends beyond painting to include photography, graphic design, erotica and interior design. Jase began his career as a music photographer on NYC’s Lower East Side. He has photographed musicians ranging from City of the Sun through Matisyahu all the way to Jazz Artist Brian Newman. Throughout his practice, Jase has sustained his use of chance-based processes in each of his pieces. Jase lives just outside of NYC in the Hudson Valley of NY with his wife and 2 children.
