Janet Pirozzi Riolo

I am an artist who works exclusively in Water Colored Pencils. I earned my art degree from The Fashion Institute of Technology. Early in my career I worked for many years designing screen prints and illustration work in the NY Garment District.

 

With my background in fashion, I always draw upon and incorporate color, patterns and style in my work - whether working in actual realism or stylized realism, fashion is always a part of my art.

 

Water Colored Pencil can be considered a technique many do differently- I have developed my own style and have gone on to teach it. Whether working in realism, surrealism, abstraction, pop art, even Impressionism - with Colored Pencil I can do it all.
