Kenneth Burns
As a young man I was influenced Bob Dylan’s music & Sandy Koufax's pitching. Each of them stirred the depth of creativity and sparked the flow of movement that would appear later in my artwork. Once retired, I discovered the joy of painting while using pastels, watercolor, colored pencils, and acrylics. I'm a member of the Nyack Art Collective and have displayed my work at the Richard Boyd Gallery in Portland Maine, The Arts Students League (Vytiacil campus) Sparkill N.Y. and the Edward Hopper House Nyack, N.Y. Creativity, although dormant for a longtime, is now my main focus and drive. By experimenting with photography and various painting techniques, ...I have found a voice.
